You have this one wild and wonderful life…
Live it Unapologetically
Do you struggle to truly accept yourself? Do you often feel like you're not enough, or find yourself relying on others for validation? Is setting boundaries difficult, especially when it comes to saying “no”? Do you feel guilty for taking up space or prioritizing your own needs? Is “sorry” your default response, even when it's not necessary? And does the fear of judgment keep you from showing up as your most authentic self?
I get it, and I am here to help.

Meet Kate
Katherine Weaver
PMHNP-BCPsychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified
FNP-CFamily Nurse Practioner - Certified
Katherine “Kate” Weaver completed her bachelor of nursing in 2010. While working in labor and delivery, she completed her masters of nursing, with dual licensure as a family nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife. She worked in obstetrics initially, but as her family grew, she needed more flexibility from the late night calls and hospital runs. She transitioned into infectious disease, with a focus on HIV and sexual health in addition to primary care and women's health.
In 2022 she returned to the world of academia to complete a PMHNP (psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner) postgraduate certificate at Johns Hopkins University.
Kate knows that cultivating good mental health is a necessary part of creating holistic wellness and that building a special therapeutic relationship includes combining her expertise with a firm commitment to patient autonomy. In her spare time, Kate enjoys hiking with her husband, spending time with her teen/young adult kids, and puttering about the garden with her dogs Otis and Bunny.
